Wonderful features!
I bought this over a month ago, specifically for our trip to Europe in April/May. It was one of the smartest purchases that I made. It rained several days and was a little chilly on couple of days, but this coat kept me warm and dry. I wasn't too sure I desired a coat with a hood, but I soon enjoyed it as I didn't have to use my umbrella in the gentle rain. I appreciated the pockets in which I could easily place my hands. They were also quite deep so things remained in the pockets rather than falling out. Additionally, the zipper pocket on the inside was handy for my phone and credit card as it made it difficult for a pickpocketer to grab them. One thing of note is: It is taking some adjustment to make sure the liner does not come out when I take the coat off. The one downside of this coat is because I am quite short. As such, sleeves are normally too long on garments even if I purchase a petite, and this coat is no exception. The snaps at the end of the sleeves and the fabric make it too difficult to hem. It would have been of help if one more snap had been added so that I could make the end of the sleeve tight enough so that the sleeve did not slip down onto my hand. Otherwise the fit was great for me. Would definitely purchase again!

Almost 25 years old, and still looking almost new!
In 2001 or 2002, I bought an olive-green H2Off raincoat with zip out lining. Nearly 25 years later, it still looks/feels like a new coat! In this time, it was once subjected to a lot of dirt and dust, and went to the dry cleaner, and came back in pristine condition. And, I think one other time, I washed it per the instructions in a washing machine. Other than that, it has received very little "care," and continues to look great.
The outer shell no longer repels water like it once did, but in rainstorms the coat still provides protection. And the hood does not get soaked through - water drops right off it, as the H2Off fabric should do.
The version I am describing has a Thinsulate zip-out lining, not PrimaLoft. But, it is very warm. It has been my winter coat for years.. and years..

Light, Warm, Waterproof!
Bought this raincoat for a cruise to Alaska; it was lightweight, didn't take up much space in my suitcase, and kept me warm and dry. I really appreciated the hood, so I didn't have to carry an umbrella!

Parka, not coat
I have an older version of this raincoat that is actually a coat, not a parka. I was hoping to replace it, as it’s showing its age, but this was not it. This is a shapeless parka that can maybe be fussed with using the elastic thingies to give it some sort of shape, but I didn’t waste time trying, as the “coat” was much too short to be considered a coat at all. I gave it two stars, because if you’re looking for a parka, it’s very nice, but I returned it.

Close replacement
Replacement of similar Bean raincoat. Size and features the same but fabric a bit stiffer. Wishnit had a detachable hood, otherwise, good product.
