Perfect Whidbey Island Wear

Great rain jacket

Petite size perfect for my 5’3” height.
Very nice multi season rain jacket. The petite size is perfect for my 5’3” height, arm length is perfect, and the ability to cinch the waist is very helpful. I purchased a large and it is roomy enough for a medium to heavy sweater.

This jacket is perfect for fall or spring in Minnesota, when you don't need a heavy coat yet. It fits well over a turtleneck and is very comfortable.

Snaps problematic
I thought the jacket would be perfect. First I had an issue with the sizing--1X was too small across the chest and 2X was on the large size. I was almost going to keep the 2X. But after several days of trying on the jacket, I found it very very difficult to open and close the snaps. And of course it looked terrible without the snaps closed. My hands are slightly arthritic and I have some tremors but it should have been easier to close and open the snaps. So I returned, sadly, both sizes of the jacket.

NOT waterproof
Bought this in spring, wore it once and it was soaked through in about an hour of outdoor wear. This is a fine jacket for a misty day, not for a long bout of rain. I needed it for work, and it let me down severely.
