Loved the Pants, Pockets are too Shallow to Keep
I loved the color, fit, and style of these perfect fit croped legs pants, but I was shocked by how shallow the pockets were. I put my Stanley ruler in vertically, and it measured only 1 1/2" depth from where you put your hands in. Unfortunately, my keys fell out in a dark theater before. I was worried and needed help finding them. I put my keys in my pocket when I go for trail walks or around the park. Under search here at this site, I searched pockets and saw that many have complained about the shallow pockets... one person said her phone fell out and broke. It's too dangerous for me to use these crop pants. I'm not sure why LL Bean designers couldn't design them with the full pockets the long leg pants have. I'll be sending these back, unfortunately. I hope this review helps someone.

Soft and comfortable. Fit true to size, good pockets, good for lightweight exercise pants. Knocked off one star because the material is a bit thinner/flimsier than expected.

Color an unexpected bonus!
I have had several pairs in full-length, this year ordered a couple in the crop length for summer. Had always stayed away from the color "Ledge," b/c on the website and in catalogue it looked too light to be practical. But decided to try the color, and I'm SO glad! It's actually a bit darker than I expected, making it (for me, at least) the perfect shade of light taupe.

My favorite everything pants!
I’ve been wearing these pants for years. They’re very versatile and are my go to pants for most days or when I don’t want to wear jeans. I have them mostly in black, navy, in different leg shapes and crops, so I can wear them to doctor visits, school events with the grandkids, or when I have to make long drives. When they get old I wear them for yard and housework or exercise classes. They’re very comfortable, wash and dry well. Just be aware that these pants come in different fabric weights- suitable for winter or summer - another perk.

great casual pants
Great casual pants. I appreciate the length as I am very short! Also wash and wear; no wrinkles. I have had another pair for years they don't wear out! but the color will fade a bit only a four because of expense for pants!
