Terrific Gore-Tex rain jacket with stowable hood.
I bought this jacket a month ago in preparation for a week-long trip to Nashville (last week) where rain was forecasted. I am not a fly fisherman but wanted a jacket with the stowable hood as I walked around the city at various tourist sites, including Honky Tonk Row. It was fantastic. It's not warm but very light weight, water and wind proof. I wanted an XL size but had to buy a large. The XL size will be out of stock for about a year. I wore this over a light weight down vest. It would work well over a sweatshirt also. The large, secure, zippered pockets are a real benefit when traveling to carry wallet, glasses, cap, airline tickets, etc. and other items in lieu of a small backpack or fanny pack in crowded places. This is a great compliment to my XL Maine Warden Gore-Tex jacket. I love both of these LL Bean jackets.
