We start with premium 850 down, which provides more warmth for its weight, and then treat it with revolutionary DownTek that allows our jackets to do what many others can't. Unlike ordinary untreated down that soaks up moisture, ours repels water and dries faster to stay light, lofty and comfortable, longer.

Just what I was looking for in weight and style
I was looking for a long (calf-length) coat for two purposes 1) Throw on for nighttime dog walks when it's under 30F outside in my temperate southeastern home, and 2) wear when visiting Boston or New York and not be embarrassed. I wanted something long and moderately on-trend but not super heavy. Total success -- Great for the dog walks, and was perfect (with layers) for a January trip to Boston. Since it's not super heavy, it can also pack well.

Warm and lightweight
This coat deserves the high ratings it gets. It is very warm and also very lightweight. The length is perfect for colder weather when you want your thighs and legs to stay warm too. The hood provides added warmth. A great coat all around! I generally wear size 10-12 and the medium fit me perfectly.

Highly functional jacket
I love, love, love this jacket. It's lightweight, warm and super comfortable. It fits me well, despite having wider hips. I especially like that it's 850 down, which is hard to find in a full length, fashionable jacket. I have been wearing it everyday to work during this cold snap, but a friend of mine wears hers when we walk on flat hiking trails. Go figure. This is a highly functional Jacket, and I highly recommend it.
