No evidence of a filling.
Very little evidence of any down. So thin and lightweight I can't imagine it would keep anyone warm. I bought this $300+ coat for my wife and I think she does not want to hurt my feelings by returning it.

My wife Loves it
Bought this for a Christmas Present with the primary purpose of providing a warm coat to use as we walk our Golden Retriever during the cold winter months. So far she has used it down to the high teens and with only a single warm layer underneath is very comfortable and even sometimes will unzip a little. Great coat and she continuously remarks how light it is.

How Disappointing !!
Recently purchased this coat imagining it to be ideal - light and warm. Hopefully a Canadian winter essential. The first disappointing clue was the weight of the parcel -I thought there was a mistake as it barely weighed anything - but there was a coat inside. So lightweight as to be useless. It is thin and packable and may be useful for 15 C to 20 C in spring or fall. This is definitely NOT a winter coat unless you live in the south. So not worth what I paid !!
