Pilling after first wear
I have bought several cashmere sweaters throughout the years at L.L.Bean and were always pleased with the quality…until now. I was happy with the color of this crewneck sweater and the detailing around the collar. But I was extremely disappointed by the pilling over the front and sleeves of the sweater after wearing in only one day! This is not at all the quality I expect from L.L. Bean!

Unbelievable shrinkage
I bought this in the size I wear normally - medium. I washed it according to the directions in cold water with Woolite and blocked it to air dry. It still shrunk to a size small which is too tight for me to wear. Take my advice and buy a size larger.

Returned because the cashmere wool is too thin, and fragile. Not very good quality for a hundred dollar sweater from LL Bean.

Perfect Cashmere Sweater

Perfect sweater !
Perfect little sweater. Great quality. I will buy more a few more in other colors. 💜 I worn it over the shoulders and tied to the symphony, and it would use it as a topper over an LL Bean tee.
