Color is Not True
Rather than the rich red color shown, the color is muddy so to speak with orange undertones. It's okay, but I wouldn't have purchased had I known what the color really looks like.

Improved
I'm very happy LL Bean has improved the quality of these sweaters. During the pandemic the quality plummeted, but now the quality is close to where it was before the pandemic. They still aren't as thick as before the pandemic, but still a good deal compared to other cashmere sweaters. Please, please, please bring back the cardigan version of this sweater!!!!! The cardigan was really the best and I wore all mine out.

Not what it used to be
The shape and fit of this sweater has not changed in years - which I like. I have bought this sweater before and I can say that the thickness if the knit is thinner than in the past. I prefer a cashmere sweater with a little more heft.
