Improved
I'm very happy LL Bean has improved the quality of these sweaters. During the pandemic the quality plummeted, but now the quality is close to where it was before the pandemic. They still aren't as thick as before the pandemic, but still a good deal compared to other cashmere sweaters. Please, please, please bring back the cardigan version of this sweater!!!!! The cardigan was really the best and I wore all mine out.

Not what it used to be
The shape and fit of this sweater has not changed in years - which I like. I have bought this sweater before and I can say that the thickness if the knit is thinner than in the past. I prefer a cashmere sweater with a little more heft.

Love these
I bought one on sale and liked it so much I got another. Was torn about the only color left in my size on sale, Toffee Donegal, but it's gorgeous in person. Sized up based on reviews and that worked out well. A classic.

Poorly made. Poor quality. Willl never purchase
I bought 4 LLBean different color Cashmere Women’s sweaters, About a year plus ago. Did not wear these sweaters all the time. Only on special occasions. With in a year of my purchase all the sweaters tore / ripped on the underarm of the sweater. It’s a shame. They are nice looking sweaters but poorly made for the price you pay for them. Would not recommend this item.
