After more than two years, more than 75 testers and a close partnership with flannel experts at our mill in Portugal, we developed an exclusive process that removes fibers from the surface of the fabric to create a remarkably soft and velvety finish. So soft!
I bought these to go with the set of LL Bean flannel sheets I already own, since I'd like to wash the pillowcases a little more frequently than the sheets. They are so much softer than my existing pillowcases! I don't know if Bean has changed the fabric, or my older ones (2-3 years, can't recall?) are just flattened out due to being washed multiple times. But wow, I'm loving these new softer flannel pillowcases.

Soft, Cozy, flannel bedding is the best!
I bought these Driftwood color Flannel King size pillowcases as a supplement to the bedding that I bought last year. The flannel bedding is soooo soft, cozy and comfortable and I wanted to cover two more pillows with them.

Soft but thin
I have ordered pillow cases from Bean on previous occasions and had been very please. These feel very thin to me and sure hope they hold up better than they appear. They are soft.
