I bought this just this past week because I’ve been on the lookout for a basic, short sleeved black dress, I used to get this style from their sister store in the past. I’m honestly unimpressed, and feel the LL Bean quality of materials has gone down in the past few years. The dress material is very lightweight, and sheer enough you can see light through it. The inside seams around the waist are a bit rough and scratchy, and the plunge at the neckline is deeper than I would like. The fit is good, I’ll give it that. But I was expecting a dress with a little more weight, and feels like it will last years. This feels like something I could get at target. Pockets, would also have been nice, but weren’t expected. Overall, I’m glad I got it on sale, otherwise I would have returned it. Bring back better quality, LL.

Lovely dress
Love the fit and fabric of this dress. Its really easy to dress up or dress down depending on the occasion and fits true to size. My only complaint....there are no pockets!
