Best Silk Top Ever
This is a fantastic top that fits like a glove and is very lightweight; I actually bought it go underneath a blouse for a bit of extra warmth. The color is beautiful and it's a real find since it has a lower scoopneck and won't show underneath blouses, sweaters, and other tops.

I purchased a pair of silk long underwear from LLBean 15 years ago. The quality of material was 10 x better then. The quality of this shirt has gone way down. The material so thin it will never hold up to even hand washing. A big Boooooo to LLBean. More money less quality!

Why are women's garments so impractical?
I did not expect the scoop neck to be so low. I'm buying these underwear to keep myself warm - look at all the skin that I now must cover in some other way. It is also almost falling off my shoulders and is quite low in back, too. I guess they save money because it uses so much less silk than a normal-sized neck. I suppose I would have to buy a men's version to actually keep my chest warm. Overall, this is the right size because you don't want to stress a silk garment by buying it too small. I had only looked at the white image in the catalog, and it seemed to have a normal neck opening. But as soon as I took it out of the package, I could see that the neck opening was ridiculously large.

Scoop too big
So disappointed with this top. Used it as a base layer for golf in 40 degree weather and it is not silky like the one i had previously and sticks to the next layer pulling on your arms and shoulders. The arms are too short. The scoop neck is so big it actually is a really large/low boatneck. Not helpful for warmth. Considering the price its not worth it.

Scoopneck too low even in petite
I should have believed the reviews about the scoopneck. First I ordered this in M regular, which was too large and had a swooping scoopneck. I reordered in S petite, thinking that the scoopneck would be proportionally smaller also. Wrong! The body size was smaller, but the scoopneck size hadn’t been changed. That made it even worse. I will be returning the item. As a long-time LLBean fan, I’m very disappointed.
