Poor Quality Fabric
This rating is not only true for this shirt, but also for several Kennebunk shirts I have purchased. It is a nice shirt and fits true to size. It comes out of the dryer wrinkle-free and crisp. However, there is a consistent wear problem at the collar. It's not from friction, but occurs where the collar bends slightly to conform to a coathanger. It's as though the cotton is too stiff and is cracking. It occurs at multiple places on the collar after 2-3 years. I have worn this shirt about once every three weeks for the past the years, so this has occurred after only 50 wearings. I am experiencing the same pattern on my Kennebunk shirts that I have bought in the last several years, but not with shirts I have bought from other sources. It might not be the fabric itself. It could be due to the wrinkle-free treatment chemicals used. Regardless, a shirt should not wear out after just 50 wearings. When you are able to determine the cause and correct it, I would appreciate hearing from you. I have loved wearing your shirts for over 30 years, but I am now buying shirts from other sources. My poor rating is strictly due to the premature wear, not the other aspects of the shirt. I can remember when I used to see the quote from Leon Leonwood Bean, "I don't consider the sale complete until the goods are worn out and the customer is still satisfied."

Nice dress shirt that will last for a long time.
Shirt is well made and fits perfectly. The only suggestion I have for LLBean is that the selection of dress shirts are limited. It would be nice to have a wider variety of colors to choose from.

Quality?
Opened package, ironed the shirt, but when husband went to wear it this morning first one then the other cuff button came right off. Both cuffs buttons just came unthreaded. After the 1st, since he was already wearing the shirt, he was going to make do until I could drop at cleaners and ask for a repair. When the 2nd button unraveled that sealed the deal. I'm disappointed because we've had so much faith in the LL Bean brand.
