Nice and warm not so cold.
These are very high-quality. Extremely warm. I purched a medium. They have a lot of room in them, but not so much that they make them bulky. I am 5ʼ 1” and weigh 110 and wear a size 6. Someone 5ʼ 6” and 130 lbs could definitely wear them and not feel uncomfortable. I purchased them to work in. I work for a grocery store and spend a lot of time in the freezer. They do a very good job of keeping me warm. I have purchased many items from L.L. Bean and I have found them to have high-quality merchandise.

takes the edge off of icy winter chill
These are good to break the icy edge off of a winter chill and even windchill. I even wear them under my flannel lined jeans to add winter warmth. And this one is a bitter winter; I'm glad I ordered more than one.

Fantastic silk base layer
I have been using these for over 20 years. As a chronic pain sufferer, I could NEVER tolerate Canadian winter without these. The price is affordable, natural fibres vs merlino wool which, for may manufacturers is now recycles plastic bags, and launder easily. The crotch wears first causing holes and runs but I usually get about 3 years out of each pair of pants before I have to replace. I also find the cream colour more durable than the dark colours but wear the black almost exclusively.

Nice and warm
These are great! Because they are so lightweight, they fit nicely under my jeans and keep me warm when walking my dog every day.

Comfortable, warm and good quality
I bought this because I’m going to be traveling in cool places and I did not want to buy clothes unsuitable for my climate where I live. These are warm and substantial, but they will fit under my jeans and slacks. I’m delighted!

Summer PJs for camping
Silk breathes and is warm and cozy like no other material for a base layer I've tried. I was cold in a 20 degree mummy bag on a 36 degree night. Felt like I needed another layer on the bottom. I give this a 4 rather than a 5 because material is so so thin. I think it would be great for summer camping though.

Like product except waistband!
Fit is good and silk fabric as expected. But why does this item need such a huge thick elastic waistband and why does the waist need to be high-rise? These are meant to be worn under pants so please consider lowering waistband and using a smaller elastic band.

Flimsy lint magnets
The worst of all worlds: so thin that you can see through them even when you wear two pairs at a time, yet they somehow managed to hold onto every piece of lint that comes near them. They also snag and run really easily, which means they're not even durable. A waste of money, I would never buy these again
