A Very Comfortable Third Layer
I'm glad that I was able to buy these silk long underpants quickly in the middle of the coldest winter in decades. They are a great layer making the outdoors comfortable, yet not overheating or becoming itchy indoors with the heat turned up. Their predecessors had become a series of holes between ankle cuffs and waistband which still helped a bit on cold days, but I'm washing these on gentle and hanging them to dry. The colors don't seem to run, so purchasing the bargain color of chestnut worked for me.

Love 'em,useful for cold snaps
I had these in older version,these are better made.the leg cuffs come off easily and the waist is heavier however they still feel ultra lite in wear.i prefer these as I am sensitive to that artifical stuff so popular these days and breathability is great.

Cold Weather Necessitates!
I had a pair of these back in the ‘90’s when I took several long motorcycle trips and in the cold weather, they were warm and comfortable. As I have gotten older, I wear them most cool days.

Great but some men won't like it
Good product. It is slightly lighter & thinner than the other thermals sold here but that can be a good thing. The main reason I lowered the star rating was the hole for men opens on its own which is quite awkward. If you wear this over other underwear that won't be a problem.

Really thin
These silk bottoms started running immediately. Now after just over a season of wear (a couple of times a week) they have huge holes in them. Definitely not like the older LLBean silk bottoms. Will not buy again.
