LL Bean Boggon
Cheap. What ever happen to the to the thick wood, Quality LLBean Boggon? The one 1 purchased from LL Bean is CHEAP. Thin wood, cheap padding, just plan cheap. Made me think that I should make the old quality style boggons from LL Bean and sell them to people who respect quallity hand made products..

Now we need snow dump!
Always wanted one. Finally bought it for grandchild. Yeah! Came well packed and delivered when they said. I think I read somewhere it may need waxing, but didn’t see any suggestions in the box.

Great gift for family fun!
I purchased this for my very young grandson at the suggestion of his parents. It’s very well made & im sure they will have many years to enjoy this toboggan as a family. Last week they put my grandson in a box on the toboggan so he wouldn’t fall over & it worked perfectly!

Average quality, fun family activity
Ordered the extra long with cushion, paid about $260. Arrived damaged- one of the corners was bashed in pretty bad, seemed to be damaged from before shipping as the box was in good shape. Llbean sent me a replacement stave to fix the damage but the new stave did not align with the holes of my sled so its mostly useless unless I want random holes in my toboggan. I think they just pulled a stave off another toboggan instead of sending me a new one. The overall construction is of average quality but for the price you get what you pay for. 8 ft toboggans hand built by a craftsman will set you back over a $1,000 so take it for what its worth. Overall its a fun sled for a good family outing that will probably last a long time with simple upkeep. I ended up sanding down and re-staining the bashed corner.
