Not like it used to be.
I purchased this bath sheet (towel) to replace one that was starting to fray after several years of use. The old one was a heavy cotton weave, but the new one appears to be a microfiber fabric. It is a great towel, but it does not dry me as well as the old one, and it does not dry overnight as well as the prior one.

I absolutely hate these towels
I thought I did enough research before buying these towels. I was looking for something low lint due to eczema and asthma. I previously had been using cheap $7 towels from Target. After buying these. I washed and dried these before using them but despite that there was 1" of lint packed in my dryer filter and despite having a brand new washer and dryer with a proper vent/exhaust hookup there was lint dust EVERYWHERE in my apartment. After first use the towels left lint all over my body. I washed and dried them more times hoping it would negate the lint problem but it didn't, the filter in my dryer continued to be filled with an inch of lint, my new washer ended up getting clogged from the lint, and there's still crumbly white lint all over my body when using these when I get out of the shower. I had someone come out to check that my dryer vent/exhaust was installed properly thinking maybe it was letting lint into my apartment but it wasn't, there is just an insane amount of lint flying everywhere from these towels. I wish I didn't throw away the cheap Target towels.

I'm on the fence with these towels. I'm glad I didn't buy a full set because they're a little less plush than what I was going for. The loops are quite short and dense fwiw. They're a very good quality towel, just not quite to my preference. After I ordered these, I received the LL Bean Home catalog and found that you can see the details very well in those photos. If you're picky, I would try to go this route in order to get good close ups of the products. They're going to last a long time and stay fresh looking.

Silver Moon vs. Sea Sage
Just an update on my 3 star review back in May where I said two separate orders of the Sea Sage unraveled after no more than two washes. The Silver Moon color, however, has NOT had that problem and have held up wonderfully. 5 stars on that color. Different production source, or what, who knows but we're happy with our Silver Moon Bath Sheet towels.
