This exclusive flannel shirt is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Really skimping on the fabric.
I've worn these shirts for years and have been very happy until about a year ago. They have gotten progressively smaller and smaller each time. They're still nice, but just be warned. The quality control on the sizing is random and you had better order a size up.

Cozy and comfortable
A decade ago I purchased a bevy of flannel shirts that I was able to wear to my wear to work. (My office was COLD). Basically, I wore them out. This year I put them on and they were no longer warm…so I invested in several of my LLBean flannels again. Night and Day different in warmth. Yay! These fit me well. Sleeves are the correct length, body isn’t too flouncy. Colors are beautiful….but most importantly, I am warm again. I have lots of Beans sweaters too but prefer to keep them for outings rather than workdays here at home. I am very happy with my purchases.

Good quality, soft and warm. I’m 5’5 128 lbs and bought a petite XS because I wanted something more form fitting and comes up to waist. Everything is great except for the sleeves, super short on me. But what did I expect

Gorgeous Flannel
I have a special affinity for flannel, and this tartan is gorgeous. It is a good fit, very soft, and seems to be of a quality to stand up to many years of wear. I was excited to see this new tartan!
