Our Maine Guide Wool Parka combines Bean's exclusive premium-quality, tightly woven wool with the lightweight comfort and warmth of advanced PrimaLoft® Infinity insulation. You get all the advantages of heavyweight wool without added bulk, allowing you to quickly and comfortably move through the woods and mount your rifle.

- Interior zip security pocket. Two front cargo pockets and two handwarmer pockets.
- Back zip cargo pocket with reinforcements for drag rope or survival kit.
- We've taken this classic and added advanced PrimaLoft Infinity insulation.
- Cut full for layering, with a comfortable, nonbinding fit. Traditional hip length.
- Draft-stopping elasticized drawcord waist. License loop.

Comfort in the mountains
Bought the camo version which is a heavier weight wool than the solid color. Quiet, warm, breathes well, good pockets and heavy duty metal zipper. Wore it in breezy temps in the teens.

Warm and Classic style. Size runs Big.
Heavy weight jacket with a good lenth. Warm and appears well made. The upper angled pockets are dummies and only there for looks with no actual pocket. Would have preferred them to be real. I ordered ione size smaller. Normally a 2XL order Xl based on other comments and found the jacket to easily fit me with room to spare.Love it.

True Wool Coat!
Very warm insulated wool coat! Put it to the test of -10 with wind last week and I stayed warm!!! Love the various pockets, the zipper is heavy duty! The only thing I found wrong is the side pockets to put your hands in are pretty low on the coat! My arms barely reach those pockets so I wear gloves! Would definitely buy again and worth the price for the quality

Used for two Winters
Nice heavy wool coat. Permaloft insulation, but not a lot it seems. In very cold temps I can feel my shoulders start to get cold first followed by my upper arms. A bit disappointed over that. Sitting in a vehicle is less that comfortable because there is no double zipper. Hard to think designers overlooked a double zipper! Overall quality if very good. Not sorry I purchased the coat, but a double zipper would have been a nice feature.

This is a replacement for a wool parka I bought 20 years ago. The only fault is the parka does not have a two way zipper.
