Works for My Purposes
This was exactly what I was looking for. It's an informal, fairly heavy-duty warm shirt that does not look like flannel. I like flannel as much as anyone, but it's not for all occasions. It's sized a bit large, so I had to choose one size down from what I've been wearing.

Very nice traditional length shirt.
My husband likes this shirt very much. He’s been happy to find one of the rare shirts that is not the “untucked” version. He likes the normal length so that he can tuck his shirts in. Please offer more shirts with his quality!

Best all around shirt
I have been wearing LL. Bean canvas shirts for a couple decades. They are well made, tough, durable, and there are many colors. I can wear them while working in the shop and for going out that night. I have one of each color.
