Classic Bean’s Style
Perfect fit. As a long time Bean user, I like the style & fit of their clothing. One caviar from experience, the shorts tend to develop a wallet pocket hole fairly quickly.

Fit the same way my size 42 of several years ago fit in waist but order 44. Thighs feel smaller than 42s. I had the same problem with Bean chinos and stopped ordering them. Seems like manufacturer is cutting back on fabric to save a few pennies. Shame!

Great LL Bean quality, but.
You need ti put the weight of the fabric in the description. Shorts are for warm weather.
I live in Texas. I think these will be unsuitable for that time.

Comfort Fit
I do not like comfort fit at all. I find that I constantly have to keep adjusting my shorts. I did that I have to tighten my belt much more. I use to order just chino shorts 6" but I see they no longer carry those.
