ANOTHER AWESOME PR of LLB BOOTS!
Got these in sz 11 as that's all they had left! Norm I wear a 10m in LLB boots. These fit well too but need heavier sox. They are not a warm boot! Beware! You will need either a sheepskin liner and/or heavy sox to keep your feet warm! They are waterproof, and I even got the wax upper part wet, and water didn't get my sox wet! I found the construction to be up to par. I really did not need these lol as you can see by the pic! lol But oh well! I LOVE them as I do EVERY pr of my LLB boots! I highly recommend them to everyone! Just beware of sizing when you do order! They are made extremely well and Thankfully in the Good Ole USA! THANK YOU LLB!

Sloppy.
I bought a pair of these boots years ago and loved them. Recently I purchased another pair. What a DISAPPOINTMENT! The wax on the boots did not cover the entire boot. Where the wax was applied, it was a sloppy mess! Big spotted areas without wax. It looked looked someone slapped the wax on with a low quality paint brush. What a mess!!!! Very disappointed with the quality and shocked that L.L. Bean would even send out a pair of boots that were so obviously WRONG! They should have been thrown in the trash at L.L. Bean! Not put in a box and shipped out. After generations of my family buying from L.L. Bean...this is the first time I can honestly say I was shocked to receive such a mess.

Boot construction
I’ve had these in the past this is my third pair. I bought two sets this time because they were on sale.
The boot construction was not up to par on either pair I purchased .
the point where the boot attaches to the canvas. It was not uniform and there were places where they had to double stitch it to make it fit.
I would’ve sent these back if I had paid full price.
My last two sets which I bought were in perfect condition.

10" height
I have the black and adore them. The 10" is perfect, the 8" too short. The canvas laces up close to the leg, isn't bulky. like the leather. Withstands hiking through the woods with no problem. Please bring back the brown in size 6!!

Not the best quality
I love the look of these boots. They are easy to put on and off and the couple times I wore them they were comfortable. I bought them on sale and was looking forward to wearing these often. I wore them twice when I noticed the seam in the front was separating. I did not notice at first but now that I wore them I realize these aren't the best made LL Bean Boots.

Great boots
Bean boots are well made comfortable great boots for canoe camping with wool socks. I wear a 9.5 shoe, in Bean Boots that is an 8 for me. My husband and I have been wearing Bean boots for years and appreciate dry feet!

Works for my needs
Works great for my needs. I use these to lead horses for a Therapeutic Riding facility. Keeps the sand from getting in my shoes. Also great retrieving horses for feeding. The grass is often wet, but my feet stay dry. Only 2 cons for me:
They are wide - I have them laced as tightly as possible, so I need to loosen all laces to get them off and on. Also I have to wear thicker socks so my feet don't slip around in them. (I PURCHASED size 8, my usual size)
