Love this Henley

lighter weight waffle
I live in a southern state and have several of these waffle henley shirts for late Fall and Winter. This is not an arctic type long john shirt, but a comfortable cotton shirt for cooler weather. I usually wear a medium in LL Bean shirts, but size up to a large in this one as it does shrink a bit in a hot dryer.

These henleys are simply the best. They hold their shape after washing and the sleeves are long enough. Great colors and work well for layering. I have 3 of them.

Would be a great shirt if it didn’t shrink
I love the shirts, but they shrink in length (a lot). The colors and fit is great, until you launder them. I wash in cold and threw them in the dryer. They came out so short that I can’t wear them - my midriff will show. I’m 5’5”, 116 lbs.

Not the same as they used to sell
I had to replace an LLBean thermal shirt that I wore out because I loved it so much! This shirt is NOT the same shirt. It doesn’t feel like cotton, it is not thick and thus is more see-through. Wish I knew where I could find the old fabric!

Comfortable heavy smooth cotton shirt
Wear these all fall and winter under sweaters or sweatshirts. Nice quality cotton. Variety of colors. Perfect for layering. Washes well and I have found no shrinkage problem when drying.
