Our classic casual coat is easy to move in and layer under. With little touches like inverted pleats and buttoned patch pockets it's no surprise this coat continues to be a customer favorite, year after year. Inspired by our iconic Field Coat (originally named Maine Duck Hunting Coat), first introduced in 1924.

Very Comfortable Jacket

Love the colors, fabric, fit! It has 4 pockets, 2 lower ones to carry phone or wallet and 2 waist level for the hands! I'd recommend to size down for a normal but still relaxed fit. The sleeves were just the right length folded to get the different color on the cuffs👌

Fantastic Barn Coat
I love this barn coat --- casual enough to throw on and wear, dressy enough to look put together for everyday outings. It is Spring in New England and I've been wearing this coat often. The lining is not quite as thick as by old LLBean barn coat, circa 1995, but is warm enough for most days.

Fantastic Barn Jacket
This barn coat is fantastic. I have worn it many times this spring and even during rain storms and it is rain resistant. It's comfortable, it fits lovely and I've received many Compliments on it.

Great Barn coat!
This was a recent purchase and it's a really good coat, just too long for me so I'm returning it. I should've ordered a petite!
There's plenty of room to move and to add a layer underneath, but still not too big. I'm 5'3, 125 lbs so I purchased a Small and it fits great, just a bit too long. I'll be reordering a petite.
It has great features and is very similar to my decades old Bean Barn coat.
