Button holes too small
I struggled to get top two buttons undone, but last three were impossible. The button holes are simply not big enough. Oddly, the button holes are positioned horizontally, which made it even harder. I looked at shirts with buttons: all button holes are placed vertically, so buttons slip in and out easily. Definitely something very wrong with construction. I’ve always wanted a barn coat for autumn, but not this one. (Don’t really know how it fit. Required so just put mark in middle)

Runs large
Nice quality jacket. I’m normally between a small and a medium at 5’3”, 128lbs, and initially ordered a petite small but it drowned me so exchanged for a petite XS. It is still quite oversized but doesn’t look frumpy. I normally wouldn’t pay this price for this kind of jacket, so hoping it lasts me many years!

Flattering Barn Coat
I am so glad I have an LLBean near me now and I can try items on. I love this coat. I have always wanted a Barn Coat but they where always so boxy. This Barn Coat is slimming not boxy. The details are beautiful . The band detail in the back, with a yoke stitching helps it look slimming. I love the soft lining, the corduroy details. I am 70. 5'9" 180. Pear shape. It fits great at the hips not tight. The length and sleeves are perfect. I am not busty and there is room in the chest for a sweater. Great upper slide pockets. Lower pockets are small good for holding tissues. No inner pockets. If you want to carry your cellphone you'll have to hold it our use a cross bag. This doesn't keep me from purchasing this beautiful jacket.....
