Cool and comfortable
As mentioned in a prior review, these pillow cases (and sheets) and comfortable and cool, particularly during hot weather. I plan to use them year round. Like the thread count of 280. NYT Wirecutter recommends as does this author/buyer. Plan to purchase more!

Great Pillow Cases
What can I say, LL Bean bedding is the best. All bedding is long lasting, fitted sheets cover thick mattresses, and look attractive on the bed. Always a good idea to have extra pillow cases.

Great material. Too big/long if you add initials
Same great material as the sheets. They seem a little longer than a standard pillowcase, so when I added the initials they put them close the opening’s edge, where the pillowcase is “flaccid”. One cannot see the initials they’re always crumpled up in the edge material. If you are not adding initials these would be five star pillowcases

Cotton Percale Pillowcases
I have been buying these sheets for years. Please don’t ever discontinue them! The only cotton sheets that stay crisp year after year, and are truly large enough for a long bed! This time we monogrammed ( for free with LLBean MC) them.
