Reliable percale
I’ve had L.L. Bean percale sheets before, and I like them a lot. The yellow is very deep, with a tad of orange. Right now I find the color a little strong, maybe they will fade a bit. I can’t imagine using any other color pillowcases with this besides white.

Fine pillowcases
These are okay pillowcases. I don't love the texture; they feel almost slick, like a synthetic fabric rather than like soft cotton. I didn't realize they are pima cotton percale when I ordered them. I don't tend to like pima. So, the mistake is mine. If you like pima cotton, then you will probably like these just fine. I simply prefer L.L. Bean's percale vs the pima percale.
