Since 1944, we've been making our iconic Boat and Tote in Maine. The same way. Our only way. First introduced as "Bean's Ice Carrier," it's proudly stitched by a dedicated team from high-quality American cotton canvas, with a reinforced canvas bottom and rugged overlapped seams. When it's finished, you'll be able to tell it's an L.L.Bean original by the signature "V-point" detail on both sides. We make your tote one at a time here in Brunswick, Maine. Then it's your turn to make it your own.

Cute Bag
This was the perfect bag to secure the housewarming gifts purchased for friends for their new Maine home. It’s not quite big enough for a day at the beach (beach towels, etc), but it will be great for running errands or hitting up a farmers market. Quality appears to be very good and durable.
