Perfect for chill of early fall
In Eastern Washington it can be chilly in early October. This vest is perfect over a turtle neck for walks when it's in low 50s, high 40s.

Fleece vest
This fit really well and I was very excited about it. It’s shedding everywhere and I’m tired of picking it up. I almost bought it in a couple of other colors and now I’m really happy that I didn’t. I buy from L.L. Bean frequently and this is the most disappointing article.

Gorgeous! But then….ugh.
This vest is beautiful and the piping added a nice touch. I love wool and wasn’t thrilled with it being a blend but thought I’d try it anyway. The Balsam color was gorgeous and I was so excited….and then I put my hands in the pockets. Ugh. Whatever cheap icky fabric they put in there is terrible for those of us with tactile sensory sensitivity. Agonizingly, I returned it, ergo the 4 stars. Wah!! Please LLBean, don’t line pockets with the sort of polyester that is icky to the touch! It was a deal-breaker sadly, it was that bad.
