Great everyday shirt
I bought this with no reviews posted (scary). It turns out, I love this shirt. I'm 5'5" but I don't like long tops, so I often buy petite from Bean. My bust is 40", hips 42". I took a chance and bought a medium petite and it works great for me. Large would have been too big. The shirt is a little boxy, but I like that look. It has a shirt tail hem, which will show a little bit of skin on the sides when I lift my arms over my head. A trade off, the front of the regular would have fallen below my crouch, which I didn't want. The regular length would be good if you just plan on wearing it on top of another shirt. I have washed it once, came out of the dryer wrinkle free with only the slightest shrinkage in length. It's is lightweight and looks good with jeans. I got the blue check, I'm going back for the red.

Beautiful Shirt
Recently purchased the Sunwashed Textured Big Shirt in the petite small. At first I ordered the small regular but the sleeves were to long. The shirt is so soft and launders beautifully, a couple minutes in the dryer and then I hang it. No wrinkles! The red check is a terracotta color with off white. I usually wear a medium in LL Bean shirts but sized down due to the oversized style. Love so much I purchased two other colors. Ladies I highly recommend.

Great shirt for a mother orangatan
I’m sending this shirt back. I often buy XL because over time I’ve put on weight around my middle and it’s one way of guaranteeing a comfy fit. I really loved the color and feel but unfortunately while I may be an XL around the middle, my arms are still the same length. The arms on this shirt were 4 inches too long! This is happening increasingly with LL Bean sizing. Large women don’t necessarily have really long arms!And I should be able to order a size and have it fit appropriately the same way other items in that size fit. This is making me rethink my 40 year relationship with LL Bean!
