The best summer pants ever!
I bought these pants a month ago and I’m so happy I did. As the weather warmed up, I find them the most comfortable and versatile pants in my closet. I love the room fit and the pockets. I got the sand color and it goes with everything. The fabric is soft and airy.

buy the men's version if it will fit you
I was one of those who requested that LL Bean come out with a version of its men's multisport pants for women. But the execution shows the following features left out:
* Rear wallet pocket with snap closure.
* Articulated knees for natural motion.
* Draw cords at cuffs which can help to keep ticks out. while hiking or gardening.
This makes them a lot less functional for active movement. The also lack the faux fly detailing and the more stylish drawstring pattern at the waist. Overall, they look like you could have bought them at the dollar store. If you climb, or bike, or are just a caregiver like me trying not to need to carry a purse while you push your loved one's wheelchair, these are not much different from the previously existing pants LL Bean has been offering. To add insult to injury, for this dumbed down version they charge women an extra $10.00 over the men's price!
