Sizing big!
Bought for my Noah Kahan loving son (6'3", 200 lbs) who usually wears XL, but was way toooooo big. The Large (men's large/woman's XL) was the perfect oversized look, but sleeves are short. I tried on (5'8") and felt the sleeves were off as well. It's a lighter barn coat (glad we have him his Christmas present early). He rolls the sleeves. Wish we had just ordered the traditional men's LLBean coat for better sizing vs NK branded (but that was the point of buying this coat).

Why put a man’s name on an L.L. Bean coat?
I don’t know who this singer is, and I’ve never heard of him before. No disrespect intended, but to put his name on a label on the front of the coat for everyone to see is kind of silly. I am happy to advertise L.L. Bean, but not some man I’ve never heard of before. Also, I’ve got the same coat from many many years ago. Please bring back the traditional plaid flannel lining. This solid orange color is disruptive and doesn’t match anything in my wardrobe. Is the idea to be able to turn it inside out and swing it around in the air in case of a rescue situation?

Comfortable and Stylish
This jacket feels very lightweight when putting it on, so much so that you can wear it indoors without starting to overheat. It's also perfect for outdoors in the cold and wet weather to shield yourself from the elements. I'm very glad to have bought this before Fall and Winter hit!

Best outdoor jacket of all time.
This jacket is great for the cl8mate I live in. The field coat has been around for years but the women's version was discontinued around 2009. So happy it is back. It is wind proof and will shed a light rain and some snow. The pockets are placed in the perfect position to keep hands warm and store gloves when needed. Pair with a scarf and beanie and you have winter covered. Best jacket ever.

I have been searching high and low for 2 years for a women’s flannel-lined barn coat. Every one I’ve seen has not been quite right, with an overwhelming inattention by brands to women’s requests for the same style coat as the men’s. When I saw this pop up last week, I thought it was a mirage. As I waited for it to arrive, I prepared myself for disappointment: “even though it’s listed as W size, it’s probably just M repackaged and won’t fit right”. Well I have to say this jacket has made me a Noah Kahan superfan, lol. The W small is oversized with slightly long sleeves (though perfect when rolled), but it actually has room in the hips, unlike mens XS in other brands. The sleeves are actually a nice nylon which makes for easy layering, and the material is a perfect, uncoated canvas. The only thing making this fall short of perfection is the weird choice of flannel lining….my dream coat has a nice plaid flannel, NOT a weird hunting orange color. Still willing to look past it because everything else is so spot on.
