Beautiful Color-Thinner Fabric
Had an older style of this top and wanted another! Even though they were made up of the same materials/ content -this fabric was thinner- so it was returned !

Soft, comfortable, but the hood is too small
I do like this hoodie mostly. It's comfortable, breezy, and almost provides great sun protection. The hood is too small to cover much of my face and cheeks when I have my hair in a ponytail. My cheeks end up hot, which defeats the point of buying a hoodie. I have hoodies from other brands that are large enough to accommodate my hair being up. I wish there were more field testing for this product. I wear this to work in a garden center where I'm walking around on asphalt and truly need the protection. I'll buy more of the other brand.

skin tight in body but fine in sleeves
I bought this for protection while I work an outdoor job this summer. A colleague was wearing one and I was so impressed. Ugh. Just got it. The fit is AWFUL. Super tight in the body. Shows EVERY bump. Sleeves are fine though. Unfortunately, I need to wear it in two days and don't have time to return it and order a different size, so I'm stuck with this. Luckily, for the job, I have to wear a particular shirt over this. I'm just worried that the tight fit will make me even hotter during the upcoming hot spell. Been a Bean customer for decades. Also in the order got two other sun protector tops in different styles but same size. Those fit fine, even a little large. Same with the four tops (non spf) I bought last week. If you decide to by this "discomfort" hoodie, go up a size. The sleeves will be too big, but you'll at least be comfortable and it will fit your core.
