Fabric Wrinkles Excessively, Khak has Olive Hue
The tropical weight cotton fabric wrinkles excessively. I have Alagash shorts that I can remove warm from the dryer, fold, and when worn have a slightly rumpled look. These require ironing to look rumpled. Khaki color has a clearly olive hue as well. I like hidden buttons for increased security. Fit is good. Decent shorts otherwise, but not sure they’re good enough to buy again.

Not as comfortable as they should be.
Like the style and color, not fond of the material. Tropic weight implies light weight and soft. They are generally light weight but definitely not soft. The material is stiff and uncomfortable, it’s almost like they have starch in them. I’ve washed them at least a dozen times (I put them in the wash every time I wash} and they do not get softer or get that worn in feeling. The waist is also a little tighter than the size should be.

Cargo Shorts
I like the shorts, except for the pockets. The front pockets are not deep enough and the cargo pockets need to be a little wider.

Perfect summer wear
Well, if you want a review it's got to come from me (wife). My husband hates doing this kind of thing.
He wears them often and doesn't complain about anything at all, so that's great. The fabric weight, feel and color are perfect for weather in MD in the summer. They look nice as well for wearing in nice public places. The fabric holds up well in the wash, and they look great right out of the dryer.
