"Signature" line runs small, I suspect
I like this dress but I think the Signature line is code for tighter-fitting, maybe for a younger body? I am 5 ft 5-1/2" and weigh about 172. The Large size fits, but just. It's also very long -- more maxi than midi. I would recommend it for a taller, younger (?) woman. Because it's so high priced, I'm going to send it back and try the scoop-neck knit dress for about half the price.

Perfect summer dress
This is lightweight and soft, just structured enough - looks so put-together, but feels like nothing on. It'll be perfect for hot summer days (but is also cute with a cardigan.) Runs a little big - I'm usually a 12/Large at Bean, and the M has plenty of room. I'm almost hoping it will shrink just a bit.

Nice quality midi dress
Nice quality fabric, but too long for me. Wish sleeves were elbow length, or three quarter length. Would be interested if LL Bean, made a midi skirt in a neutral color in good quality fabric...something basic I could wear with the many tops I purchase from LL Bean for summer and winter. Hard to find basic midi A line skirt.

Very Flattering
I'm 5'5 and weigh 160 pounds, size 12 in most clothes. I bought a large and almost with it fit a little tighter, but because it's 100% cotton it may shrink a little. The overall look is very flattering and because the fabric is lightweight, this will be perfect for spring. summer and very warm Fall days here in central NY. I highly recommend buying this.
