Nicely designed, but stiff and crinkle-y
The bag is light, simple and quite elegant, and is an ideal size, but the fabric feels weirdly cheap, stiff and crinkle-y, the one zipped pocket is a bit short and small to be really useful (it would be nice to have an additional pocket that you don't need to undo the flap to access), and the layout seems back to front for people, I would suspect the majority, who wear the bag slung on their right hip. The bottle holder is positioned correctly to be at hand, but the key clip is not - if it was on the other side you could say use your key to open a door without taking off the bag. The buckle to adjust the strap too is also on the "wrong" side, making it much harder to adjust on the go. The strap is probably a bit too long, and it's also on the narrow side: probably not too comfortable if you were carrying it full of books or wine for any great distance.
It's fine for cycling though, I'm not sure what that person means about it lacking a waist strap. I've cycled with bags like this (i.e not those mammoth, actual bike messenger-size bags) for 40 years and never felt the need for an extra strap.
Anyway, nice elegant design which is surprisingly hard to find these days, but the quality of the materials let it down.

Does not zip closed
Bought because the information stated that the top securely zipped closed. There is a small zippered part, but the main area does not zipper. It is just covered by the the flap of the bag.
