This leather cruiser boot is a new take on one of the original variations of the Maine Hunting Shoe® - first offered in our 1917 catalog as a tough-as-nails alternative for "Lumber Cruisers, Guides and Trappers."
In 1912, when 90 of his first 100 pairs of boots sold were returned, our founder, L.L., sent out refunds and fixed the problem. We've followed in his footsteps, listening to customers and making improvements while staying true to everything that makes Bean Boots legendary. Best of all, they're still sewn right here in Maine - one pair at a time - by expert craftspeople. Whoever says, "they don't build things like they used to," doesn't own a pair of these.

Solid leather boot for casual wear
Nice boot!! I miss the leather loop on the back-top of the boot that all of the others have, but it is not too difficult to pull on. For me, this is a boot to pair with jeans or flannel lined khakis. I wouln't wear them to do yard work - my other pairs of Bean boots are for that. These boots look and feel like they'll last for years. I'm glad I bought them!

Bean Boots just keep getting better and better!
I noticed some improvement on the Bean Boots: the fit, the sole, the insert in the boot… the leather is softer and I like the new color combo. Impossible to resist! Thank you.
