Elevated LL Bean tote in the perfect size
I LOVE this new take on the classic LL Bean tote. Both the leather of the straps and the waxed canvas seems crafted to carry an intentional patinaed effect, so that the tote only improves in aesthetic with wear. In addition to how sophisticated it looks, this tote is the perfect size—midway between a medium and large boat and tote. The handles are also a compromise, being long enough to wear comfortably over the shoulder but not so long that it can't also be toted easily in the crook of your elbow. Convenient inner pocket, and a helpful inner snap that will be helpful when I use this as my carry-on on flights.

Stunning Fall tote
This bag is idea. It's exactly what I wanted. A version of the traditional boat and tote though the canvas is coated and the size is probably between a medium and a large, can be used as a large purse. The body is darker than the traditional canvas color and I like it even better, it's richer. Just note (I gave them this feedback on the phone after ordering two bags and having to send one back) - the brown leather trim is already worn a bit and can looked scratched. I knew it would be a bag that would look better with time, but I was surprised it came with leather scratches because they don't mention that in the description. But I just love it! I wish they would actually do this one in more colors, but the brown is so rich looking.
