Disappointed that the weight of the outdoor rug so lightweight. I had bought 2 half moon waterhog mats about 10 years ago and so much more weighted. What's going on with the change?

Super great product!
This is the third mat I have purchased from llbean. I've had the other two for many years, and lately because of heavy traffic at another door, I bought another. They are great for keeping out tracked in mud, dirt, and leaves. And the quality remains excellent after years of wear. I highly recommend this mats. (All three of mine are in charcoal).

Perfect for My Kitchen Doorway.
Perfect weight and colour for my kitchen doorway! I have several of the Heavyweight Waterhog mats, and I needed a slightly thinner version for patio door off my kitchen. I love the Waterhog mats from LL Bean for their downright toughness in protecting my flooring from dirt, mud, grit, water, snow, and whatever we have stepped in on our way in the house! They lay flat, too and don’t slip and shift about. Easy to clean, last for YEARS and look good in my house. The bluestone colour is just right for with a pale grey/blue/brown tile in my dining nook.

Durable mats
A perfect mat for outside the front door. The weight is good for keeping it flat and in place. I previously purchased a square mat for in the foyer, and one outside the back door. The only issue I have had is getting road salt off of the indoor mat. Otherwise, these are good, durable products.
