Great all around jacket
I was looking for a fleece jacket. This one, in wool, sounded like it might be warmer than regular synthetic fleece. It really is! Most days this winter, unless it's extremely cold, I can wear this and be warm outside without getting too warm in stores.

So warm!
The warmest fleece jacket I’ve ever owned. Yes, the sleeves are a bit long- Inroll them up when I’m not keeping my hands warm. Able to let the dog out and follow him in 1 degree weather without freezing or curl up on the sofa on a chilly night to warm up including my hands. Beautiful fabric, soft on inside fluffy and thick on outside. This is a true Bean jacket made for those Shenandoah winter nights.

If you’re looking for warmth...Wool Fleece Sweater
In the '80s, the rule was simple: better quality cost more. That isn't always true today, but L.L. Bean still lives by it. I tried to save a bit by ordering a similar sweater from another department store for a third of the price, but the quality just wasn't there. Given this winter's record-breaking cold in the Northeast, Bean’s wool full-zip sweater is worth the investment.

Warm and stylish wool fleece for your guy
Warm and flattering thick weave on this dark blue sweater jacket keeps out the chill. My brother loved it for Christmas. It was big enough in the shoulders that he could easily fit a long-sleeve tee underneath, and it flattered his physique (he's a big guy).
