Right sized backpack with comfortable straps
I was replacing my 1984 era LLBean backpack. For travelling, I sought a simple backpack with flexible padded straps & tiny bit of padding for a laptop. I was looking for a bag without hard plastic back or shaped plastic straps. So many of the other brands now have hard plastic in both locations. Real zippers with metal zipper pulls - to secure the bag was essential. My last two backpacks lasted forever, one from 1984 - that's a bit small so I don't take it on long trips, the other from sometime in late 90s. This commuter pack seems to meet that simple spot to carry a laptop, jacket, hat & umbrella.
