Thoughtfully designed
Size small is great for a petite woman like me at 5’1”. Sleeves are long enough to drop over my hands for extra warmth. Pockets are MASSIVE. The lining of the hand pockets works well as interior pockets for a large phone or similar. Fabric is a bit heavier than most fleece. Not wind resistant. Launders beautifully. I’d buy coats designed for women if you’d give us giant pockets, giant armholes, and space for hips and shoulders. This is an endless source of frustration. Thanks for offering some nice bright colors - the orange-red is beautiful.

LL Bean Got it Right
Quality-wise, fleece jackets are all over the place these days. This one is a winner. The jacket is looks good, fits well, is non-itch unlike some wools, and most of all, warm!

Great Features, Bad Sleeves
I bought this Jacket two months ago. It has some great features - lots of convenient and useful pockets, great material, great color, warm.
BUT - a $140 fleece jacket should have lined or slickered sleeves. This one does not and consequently it bunches up each time you put it on or take it off, a real nuisance.

Fit is very good. Not excellent because I'm only 5'7". Quality feels plush and upgraded For me, arm length a bit long but I am folding it over. I'm a short person so fit is extra extra important to me so the fold over cuff is a compromise. A lady friend of mine convinced me to keep and enjoy. And that I will.

shredded at side seam after 2 weeks
The side seam of this jacket shredded after only a couple weeks of wear! Now I have to go through returning it etc. Not at all the level of quality I have come to expect from LLBean.
