Not great quality for LL BEAN
The material is scratchy and there’s only snaps, (which did not all work on mine). No zipper for the pockets, no zipper up the front. I have one from YEARS ago that is really soft and has zippers on both pockets and the front along with big buttons on the front too. My mom always loved LL Bean which intern made me want to buy from them. I’ll just keep wearing my 20 year-old down vest even though it doesn’t have much down left in it. The quality is amazing.

Love this vest! It is not too cropped and not too long. Hits exactly where I wanted it to. Not too too puffy but just right. Classic style and great function.

fits well
I like this vest, it fits well and has snaps on the pockets. The collar is not stiff so you can fold it back rather than eat it all day. I wish it had a studier shell for outdoor use. I would also like to see a vest made with 3/4 sleeves, not a long sleeved jacket, so it would be more practical for outdoor work, and for doing dishes in a cold house.

Perfect Petite Sizing
I added this LL Bean Mountain Classic Down Vest to my warm outerwear this season and I love it! The cropped length is perfect for a 5' tall petite in the south during the colder winter months. I like the pockets. They are easy to access but I do wish they zipped rather than snapped. Also, I wish the vest snapped and zipped. It zips well though. The purple color is lovely. The vest is well made. LL Bean did not disappoint!
