Surprised to find wool knee highs at LL Bean!
I bought these socks a few months ago, and I’m going to buy another pair. Soft and thick around the foot and on the sole; thin above the ankle. Unlike other reviewers, I do not find them too tight. Simply snug in order to stay up! I need knee highs because I have neuropathy, so my feet and calves are always cold. These keep my feet and legs warm.

These hiker socks have a nice colorful design. However, I couldn’t get them over my feet let alone up to my knees! These are for people with thin legs and strength to pull them up.
