Runs Very Small
I am a woman with short straight hair and purchased the Large. It was very tight. Also, it didn't come down far enough in the back and didn't cover as much of your face as the mad bomber hats that LL Bean sold many years ago. I was hoping to get another one but this one really fell short. Please LL Bean, make them like you did many years ago. Until then, I'll be wearing my old one to get through Maine winters.

Puffer Bomber Hat
Excellent fit, with the first really cold weather last week, the hat stood up to be counted. I was insulated from the 40 mph wind and the 18 degree weather. Really love this hat, could not ask for more.

Best winter hat ever!
I've had a lot of winter hats over the years, but this one is by far the best. It is warm, comfortable, and stays in place due to the integral chin strap. Not cheap, but well worth the money.
