Belt was too bulky for summer wear
Belt was too bulky for the lightweight pants and shorts that I wear in summer. I would see this as a good belt for use with tradesman's pants.

Could have been so good
I bought this utility belt to wear with my LL Bean utility pants. I have 4 pairs of the pants. Imagine my surprise when I couldn't get the belt to fit through the belt loops! After a lot of wrestling and finagling, I was able to fit the belt through the loops, but it's going to be another episode with I need to wash the current pair of pants. It's also worth mentioning that trying to adjust the tightness of the belt was also a complete hassle and I had to use needle nose pliers to aid in gripping the belt because it was not amenable. I do not recommend this product and it makes me sad bc I'm a die hard LL Bean fan. :-(
