Another robe that feels like plastic on wet skin.
Maybe its that my skin is sensitive? (although I've never had any issues before ... except finding a comfortable robe). I attempted to find a 100% cotten robe but decided to try this one which was rated as close to 100% ... but this one feels the same as my previous all fleece robe. When you are wet getting out of a shower or hot tub and want something on quick, a robe should be soft and absorbant and slip on quick and comfortably ... not just feel like the moisture smears over your skin as the robe sticks to your arms as you can hardly slip it on. I was just expecting more after branching out to a more expensive product. This size was okay ... I was expecting a little bit of a smaller fit as I'm kind of in between medium and larges on a lot of upper clothing but this seems to be a true large fit. The fabric is a bit stretchy and giving and feels good with a dry hand / body but boy - again if you are wet and wanting to throw something on ... this is probably not for you. Swing batter ...

Not what I expected, no fleece lining.
I’m so disappointed. The only reason I would even think of paying $140 for a robe, that comes with a $129 tag, is because it’s hooded, warm with fleece lining, and because there’s nothing like it out there. It’s why I bought one years ago. It was gloriously heavy and protected me, and my bald head, from the cold, night or day. Not this time. I received something made of gossamer, in comparison. No inner fleece. If the description explicitly said like “There is no fleece” or “Not the same as the previous version” I would not have purchased it. And the medium is too small. I’m returning it, and will stick with my old one that needs repairing and stain removal. Oh well.

Bring back the rugby robe!!
What on earth were you guys thinking?! Every year, the rugby robe is sold out about halfway through the season. I have three of them and they are literally my favorite articles of clothing. Why would you mess with a good thing? I'm assuming it's to bring the cost of production down, but it will show up in your sales figures - there's a reason you sell out year after year, and it's because the rugby robe isn't just another average robe that can be bought anywhere. What a shame!
