Good quality
L.L. Bean is one of my favorite. Me and my family used to go to Maine at their main store to buy some stuff. We live in Boston for 18 years.You really need to pay some extra cash because their product is different comparing to others.And is worth it.Very good quality and last forever

Okay, with caveats
This sweater is warm and fits well, but there are a couple of problems. The crew neck is wide and loose. The yarn is a bit coarse. The black is flecked with odd bits of colored yarn, which is not necessarily bad, but was unexpected. Bean’s quality is less reliable than it once was. I’d buy this sweater for casual wear.

All seasons wool crewneck sweater
Haven't had the chance to test it in Summer heat but it's been a great layer in bitter cold and when active outdoors on moderately cold days. Also, really like the style and color.

The size is great, but it is more bulky than I thought it would be. The wool is not as smooth as I had hoped. I would prefer a fabric without all the little spots in it. I always feel like I have something that I need to remove from the sweater.

Love the sweater; HATE the collar!!
Thought when I bought this that it had a “normal” sweater collar, but as soon as I got it I noticed it was “larger” than most. Most of my sweaters “hug” the neck while this sweater leaves a somewhat weird gap between an underlying shirt and the sweater. Makes it look a bit stretched out even. Anyway, that’s my opinion. Wish I’d sent it back right away…

The perfect wool sweater!
Absolutely beautiful 100% wool sweater. This is wearing so nicely, the color is great and it’s the perfect weight. This will be a sweater that lasts a long time and I had been wearing it often since purchase. No pilling and not scratchy. I plan on purchasing another!
