Disappointed
I tried this shirt on in our local LLBean store in Regular. It was too big so I ordered the M Petite (my regular LL Bean size) online. I normally love the smocky, Bohemian styling and have several shirts that are similar. This one was a big disappointment. It fit me, but looked awful on me. It did not hang well, the sleeves were uncomfortable as they hit just below the elbow so interfered as I used my arms, and it hung like a dish towel. I sent it back.

Fabulous but this Petite woman had to get Regular!
I ALWAYS buy Petite from LL Bean. It always a perfect fit. In this lovely Shirt, it runs a bit too SHORT. It is NOT CROPPED but it didn’t fall at my high hip. It fell a little higher. I am 5” 1/2”, 130lbs and usually wear Petite Small. I returned it to the store and bought the Regular Small and it is PERFECT. Great material too. Not as heavy as a flannel. Wonderful for FALL (or those of us who run hot). In fact, I’m back to buy another colour now that I know how it fits. For those who want a closer fit, I would suggest sizing down.
Speaking of fitting: I WISH the LLBean Store had as many Jeans for sale for Women as they do for Men. There was an entire WALL for men and just a few for Women. There are so many online but we Women need to try jeans on.

Beautiful but itchy
The style is beautiful and I wish they made more shirts in the style! The balloon sleeves are gorgeous. The buttons are adorable. The low neck is beautiful, especially if you wear a necklace. However, the material is so itchy. As soon as I put it on my skin. The texture is just terrible. It’s nothing like flannel. It is not brushed. It is sort of like a linen where it’s scratchy.

I love these new shirts. A little relaxed and so comfortable to wear. I have three, and want one more. Fabric is nice and they washed well. I hung them on a hanger before totally dry. Perfect!

Beautiful blouse
I tried this blouse on in store and was between sizes XS & S. My main issue was the considerable amount the length shortened between XS & S. Width-wise, I prefer the XS, but the S was the perfect length. I am 5'7", approx 150lbs for reference. It wears beautifully, but keep in mind it gets shorter the smaller the size. Other than that I recommend, and will be buying another in a different color.

Best go-to blouse
This is not the first time that I have bought a blouse from L.L. Bean. I purchased a couple during the spring and fell in love with them and then I saw these so I figured I would give them a try. I ordered my usual size which is a small And I am so happy with them. They fit nicely. They meet a little above the hip so they are a little on the short side, which I like, but not too short because I am able to tuck in the top a little bit. I have nothing bad to say about these. My only request would be please Make a solid black color and ecru color that would be awesome! These are very comfortable as well and very soft. They are basically effortless. I’m 5’4” approximately 136 to 139 pounds and my bust is a 36D and the small was absolutely perfect.

Disappointed
This shirt is styled beautifully- absolutely adorable.
I tried it on in a large, my normal size, it was swimming on me. So I went to a medium. Still too wide under the arms but okay at the hips. This shirt is expensive, but since the style was so sweet I would pay it.
Sadly, it just looked sloppy. Why, oh why, can’t llbean put darts in their women’s shirts???!!!
