We wanted this versatile henley to feel supersoft and smooth next to the skin, so we started with premium Pima cotton, then added modal and stretch for even more comfort. Plus, our breathable performance fabric is packed with more hidden benefits, including moisture wicking, antimicrobial properties and UV protection.

I originally ordered a medium Henley but it was too small. I returned it for a large Henley and it was to large. So I washed it in hot water and hot dryer. Now it fits with in acceptable limits

Cozy Warm Quality Shirt
Very comfortable. Nice and warm. Perfect fit. Washes nicely in cold water. Was a tad bit pricier than I expected but I believe it's because of the high quality material that the shirt is made of. Definitely worth buying.

Changed style and fit
I liked the prior version of this shirt, which I purchased as late as this spring. This fall’s version has changed in style, fit, and composition. The pima cotton content is reduced significantly. The fit is looser as for the prior version, which was the reason for my purchase. And it now features a strange hanger loop in the neck area. I don’t know who would need one for a shirt? On top of it all, the price increased by $10. What for? Sorry - but I am disappointed.

Quality control lacking
My husband ordered a number of these shirts and likes the fit and material. However a number of the shirts have had loose button threads right out of the package or after the first wash, requiring me to re-sew them. Not the quality control I’ve come to expect from L.L.Bean.

Great shirt but way too expensive.
I’ve purchased 2 in the past and very pleased with them. However, it seems there was a recent huge price hike for a shirt that was already very expensive. Will not buy another based on cost.
