This exclusive flannel shirt is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

A quality flannel shirt
I love this Flannel Shirt. It is so soft, the perfect length for me as I am only 4'11". I ordered the petite length. It washes and dries well. I wear it often either with something under it or just the shirt alone buttoned. The plaid is beautiful. The shirt is a very good quality and it is perfect for chilly fall days,
not too hot, but warm enough to keep you comfortable.

Good Fit
I am 5'3" and 122 lb and ordered a regular small. I like the way it fits. It is a little loose. I think LL Bean petite tops fit smaller than other brands because of the length of the shirt or jacket and the length in the sleeves which is why I ordered a regular. I hope it doesn't shrink and need to exchange it for a medium to make it fit like the small. I wish the other reviews would be specific on the size they ordered. They would be more helpful. I like the plaid color; not as bright. I feel like I can where it all season, not just on Christmas, because it is not so bright. I like the casualness of the shirt. If you don't like casual shirts, this shirt is not for you.

Nice Flannel
I love Scotch Plaid Flannel. I usually purchase a size small in the regular relaxed fit, and tried this Boyfriend style, which turned out too big for me. I will purchase the regular style instead.
